“安德烈”算是邻居，当时是在2011年黑桥艺术区C区院，记得他曾在路边向我借过火点烟，印象里他不会英 文也不会中文，说一口很流利的我一点也听不懂的语言。之后一天他来敲门递给我一手机，手势比划着让 我接电话，电话里是他的翻译，告诉我说“他要离开中国了，希望把他的画作为礼物都送给我”。第二天早 上我发现一个箱子在工作室门口，我很惊讶这么多画赶紧去找他，发现门开着人已经走了，残留着酒瓶， 烟蒂，草稿和颜料… 他没有告诉过他的名字，从他留下来的画本里，像是俄国人，我希望暂时叫他“安德 烈.瓦连拉.弗拉基米尔”意思是“勇敢健康的拥有世界”。
"Андрей" was my neighbor. Back in 2011, we were all living in the now demolished “Black Bridge” Art District. I remember him once asking in sign language for a lighter from the other side of the street. He could not speak English or Chinese. I, on the other hand, wasn’t familiar at all with the language he spoke.
Soon after the cigarette episode, he knocked on my door and handed me a mobile phone. Gesturing for me to answer his call. On the phone was his translator who told me, "Андрей"is leaving China and hopes to give you all his paintings as a gift."
The next morning I found a box at the entrance of the studio. I was surprised by the amount of paintings that he had made. I went to his studio and found that the door was open and that nobody was left. There were still wine bottles, cigarette butts, pencil drafts and paint tubes on the floor...and a book which was written in a slavic alphabet.
For the time being, I wish to call him "Андрей . Валентин . Владимир", which means "Beholder of a Brave and Healthy world".
